When I worked at WSNO (1450-AM, Barre, VT), it was tough to find things that I wanted to hear on Bill’s playlist. Luckily, I only worked weekends, so I could be selective.
There was always some excessively sweet pop, like Undercover Angel by Alan O’Day from 1977. Can’t you hear them singing this on South Park?
BTW, Alan wrote some hits for other people, including Angie Baby (for Helen Reddy, 1974) and Rock and Roll Heaven (for The Righteous Brothers).
