Ruth and I are getting married Saturday, September 27th. We though it would be fun if our friends could join us for a run to help celebrate. So we’ve decided to invite everyone to the Kerouac 5K in Lowell on Sunday, September 28th. The race starts at noon. Conveniently there’s a party afterwards with refreshments, music, and fun going on into the afternoon.
Everyone’s welcome! Even if you don’t run, there’s plenty of time to get ready to run a 5K (3.1 miles) between now and the end of September. No one says you have to be fast (I’ve certainly slowed down over the years), and there’s no rule that says you can’t walk if you want. The race is for a good cause and we’ll have fun, so sign up now and we’ll see you in Lowell!
