Ruth set another PR today at the Seacoast Half Marathon in Portsmouth, NH. She finished the 13.1 miles in 1:58:09, her first half marathon under two hours.
I finished in 1:39:03, which was a good time for where I’m at now, though it is closer to my slowest half marathon time than it is to my fastest.
A flyer in the race packet advertised the Science and Nature Center at Seabrook Station. According to the flyer, you can:
- See the unique ecosystem surrounding Seabrook
- Touch marine life in our tide pool
- Listen to the sounds of wildlife on our nature trail
And of course, the highlight of any study of the local natural habitat:
- Learn how electricity is made at a nuclear power plant
Gratz on the PR Ruth!!! You must have had to really focus on training – not easy in the late season. Gonna do the long run next?
